Pain can interfere with every aspect of our lives. There are so many ways to treat it, so how do you know which approach is best for you? A perspective that is balanced and encourages wellness of your whole system is optimal.

My holistic approach includes hands-on treatment, exercise recommendation, stress management techniques, and encouragement in healthy eating habits. Each treatment plan is uniquely designed with your input and with your whole body wellness in mind.

Often, pain is the indirect result of imbalance of tissue tension or alignment. Besides my hands, I use many tools to promote balance throughout your system. After a typical musculoskeletal evaluation we will work together to design a course of treatment that reflects your preferences. You may choose from integrative dry needling, cupping, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, massage, joint mobilization and/or exercise instruction.

Pain management starts with whole body wellness. I want to help you return to the activities that make your life enjoyable.

Hello! My name is Jennifer, most people call me, “Jenna”. I have been a licensed Physical Therapist in Brunswick, Maine for more than 20 years, since graduating from Husson University in Bangor.

My treatment experience ranges from orthopedics to neurological diagnoses, and I have treated people of all ages, from a few weeks old to advanced elderly. Much of my experience has been treating people with chronic pain through exercise, aquatic therapy, manual therapy, lifestyle modification, and dry needling.

I also enjoy working with people diagnosed with degenerative neurological diseases such as Parkinson’s Disease (PD), Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), and Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

My focus, with any of my patients, is to teach them how to optimize life. This may require emphasis on:

pain reduction,

improving strength or balance in order to continue independence,

coaching a community exercise program,

or prescribing the right equipment to keep the patient mobile.

Sometimes it requires showing a family how to care for a loved one by teaching them how to perform daily activities in the safest way possible.

Whatever the need is, my goal is to demonstrate my passion for whole body wellness in my unique approach to Physical Therapy.
